Do You Know Where The Germs Are Lurking?

September to March is high time for cold and flu season, which means that for over half of the year we are more susceptible to catching the bug that’s going around the office. Whether you’ve battled a cold or flu bug yet this year, someone you know likely has, and you probably did your very best to avoid contact with them so that you wouldn’t catch the germs.  But even with our best efforts to avoid direct contact, what many of us don’t know is that germs can live on surfaces for up to 48 hours! That gives us all plenty of time to pick up and pass around the germs.

Staying healthy can be a challenge, especially when you’re to and from work every day, and out after work and on weekends for errands and activities. We are continuously coming into contact with others. And since it’s not exactly possible to hibernate for the entire cold and flu season, arming yourself with the right knowledge to keep the spread of germs at bay is your best defense.
